Bridge and Strings

Install String Separator

Install Bridge (No glue or slots recommended)

Install strings: 

1. With Peg Head on your left, the string furthest from you will be the would string.  Install it first.  There may be excess string length, it is okay to cut off a few inches but make sure there is length to be wound around the tuner shaft 5-6 loops.

2. Next install the string closest to you.

3. Then the center string.

4. Finally the second string.

I recommend “Playing The Dulcimer Made Easy” instruction book.  It starts with the beginner in mind and progresses into an intermediate lever.  Detailed instruction on playing, holding, strumming and tuning your dulcimer.
