Hi Jeff,

I got one of your scratch kits and some hardware to make another dulcimer some time ago now. Everything arrived quite quickly and in mostly in good order. I had to re-glue the body which wasn't a biggy.

Anyway I completed assembly of the kit in about a week of evenings. Then I spent the next two weeks on the oiled finish. I'm quite happy with the result and plan to spend this Christmas break building more dulcimers (hourglass shape).

Obviously it's a bit hard to tell from a photo just what the finished dulcimer is like, but most of my dulcimer playing friend are either very polite or it has turned out pretty good.

Thanks for getting me started on the path (the long path) toward luthiery.
